Hoping to protect their 1980 makers name, the Honda group competed in 1981 Endurance World Championships with all the RS1000. Fitted with an air-cooled 4-cylinder DOHC 999cc motor with the capacity of 150hp, the RS1000 showcased all the latest Honda technology that had been fine-tuned in their domination of stamina racing inside belated 70's.
