This is a 1/12 scale plastic model kit that reproduces the Repsol Honda RC211V with emphasis on engine and chassis detail for reference-level builds.
The Repsol Honda RC211V was developed by Honda for the early 2000s Grand Prix era as a four-stroke, V5-engined racing motorcycle. Its compact V5 arrangement, fuel tank located beneath the seat area, and Honda Unit Pro-Link rear suspension were notable engineering choices intended to concentrate mass and improve handling. The RC211V was used by factory riders during a period when four-stroke machines were becoming dominant in premier-class competition.
The kit replicates the RC211V V5 engine layout, including the cylinder orientation and the distinctive exhaust routing. The exhaust system and outlet layout are modelled to reflect the prototype arrangement. The frame and Unit Pro-Link rear suspension are represented using metal-plated parts for a more accurate visual finish on the completed model. Upper bodywork and seat cowl sections are secured with small precision screws and can be removed for display or detailing access. Decals are provided for the Repsol livery and for two rider numbers supplied with the kit.
A detailed static model that focuses on engine and chassis replication, suited to builders who prioritise prototype accuracy and display realism.
