The real RC211V was Honda's V5-engined racing prototype used in the 2002-2006 era. In 2003 the machine helped secure championship results with a combination of a compact V5 powerplant and a chassis designed for high-speed circuits. At the Valencia round a unique 1970s-style paint scheme was applied and Honda trialed a triple-exit exhaust layout; the event marked a notable final competitive appearance for the rider associated with that season before a team change the following year.

Model details are documented separately from the historical background. The kit reproduces the Valencia-specific livery using high-quality Cartograf decals and includes parts introduced mid-season, such as the triple-exit exhaust without silencers. The frame and unit pro-link suspension are represented using metal-plated components. Engine detailing reflects the V5 layout and a metallic clutch cover is supplied. Upper and seat cowls plus the tank cover are fitted using small precision screws so they can be removed after assembly.
