Legendary British motorcycle racer, Barry Sheene, raced within the 1980 World Grand Prix on a Yamaha YZR500 sponsored by Akai. The bicycle?s stylish color scheme of red lines on a black base caught the eye of several fans at that time, and contains remained a popular over the years. After the finish of this WGP period, Sheene astonished Japanese bike fans together with performance during the TBC Big path Race.
