This is a 1/12 scale plastic assembly kit that reproduces the Konica Minolta Honda RC211V '06 racing motorcycle as a display-oriented scale model in the manufacturer's 1/12 motorcycle series.
The Honda RC211V was developed for four-stroke 990cc Grand Prix competition in the early 2000s, using a compact V5 engine layout and a chassis tuned for high-speed circuits. The 2006 season marked the final year for the 990cc class before regulation changes reduced displacement, and several teams ran distinctive liveries that year, including the blue-and-white Konica Minolta machine ridden by Makoto Tamada.
The kit reproduces external shapes and service features of the 2006 Konica Minolta RC211V: refined cowling contours, the exhaust routing, and the airbox ahead of the fuel tank are modelled. New parts are provided for the clutch cover and fuel tank sections. Cowlings are secured with small precision screws to allow removal for display of internal detail. A Cartograf decal sheet is included for the authentic blue-and-white team livery.
A factual, display-grade 1/12 kit that focuses on external accuracy and livery authenticity, suitable for builders and collectors who want a representative RC211V '06 replica.
