Protecting the Humanitarian Assistance Mission

In 1997, japan Ground Self Defense Force (JGSDF) began growth of a new high-mobility light armored transportation automobile because of the versatility to manage brand new missions in a changing globe. First deployed in 2002, the JGSDF Light Armored car has a capacity of 4, is effective at top speeds of 100km/h, and it is light sufficient to be carried by helicopter or transport aircraft. The weapon mount on the roof could be fitted with a 5.56mm MINIMI device gun or Light Anti-Tank Guided Missile. Tamiya's model depicts a car deployed to Iraq included in Japan's Humanitarian Assistance Mission.
