This is a finished 1/12 scale motorcycle model positioned in Tamiya's Masterwork Collection as a display-focused replica of a 2006 Kawasaki race machine.
The Kawasaki ZX-RR was Kawasaki's four-stroke racing prototype introduced after the marque returned as a works entrant in the early 2000s. By 2006 the ZX-RR used a high-capacity inline four-cylinder engine and revised bodywork developed for top-level road racing. The bike recorded competitive qualifying and race results in that period, with notable podium finishes that represented high-water marks for the factory effort.
The model is supplied finished and requires no assembly. Exterior shapes and race livery are reproduced to the proportions of a 1/12 scale motorcycle, with surface details emphasized by the paintwork and pad-printed markings. The inline-four engine casting is represented on the model, and the exhaust system follows the four-into-two-into-one layout used on the prototype, including the etched AKRAPOVIC marking on the muffler. Tires are synthetic rubber for realistic appearance and mounting, and a display racing stand is included for static presentation.
A finished-scale representation intended for display, this replica highlights the subject bike's bodylines and engine silhouette while offering a ready-to-present option for model builders and collectors.
