• About the Opel Astra V8 Coupe Opel Team Phoenix
  The DTM (German Touring vehicle Championships) delighted European engine recreations fans with a lot of fender-to-fender action unfurled by three major automobile manufacturers: Mercedes-Benz, Opel, and Audi. The Opel device that raced into the remarkably popular 2001 DTM period was the Astra V8 Coupe. Having its over-sized front side bumper, over fender, and back wing, the machine's outside design maintained similar design since the manufacturing variation. But the machine's guts, a powerful front-installed 462hp outputting 4-liter V8 motor with rear-wheel drive and 6-speed transmission, had been made purely for racing.
