This TAMIYA scale synthetic model kit accurately illustrates the Kawasaki Ki-61-Id Hien. The Hien ended up being officially adopted by the Imperial Japanese Army in 1943, and endured out among its Japanese aircraft contemporaries within the Pacific War because of its liquid-cooled Ha-40 motor, slimline fuselage and long, elegant wing.
