Able to sign up for a Soviet T34 or U.S. M4 Sherman in a single shot, the awesome power for the Tiger I became significantly feared by the Allied forces. Henschel produced over 1,300 Tiger we heavy tanks during WWII, which range from initial production to modified late manufacturing models. The more or less 200 models made out of November 1942 to June 1943 are characterized as very early production, possessing distinctive features like large cylinder shaped cupola with smoke discharger and pistol ports on turret. The Tiger I first saw action against the Soviets near Leningrad, and proceeded to serve on Eastern, Western, Italian and African fronts.
