1/700 Japanese Destroyer Akatsuki

There were 4 batches of "Special Type" destroyers, Type I, IA, II, and III, and Akatsuki that was finished in 1932 while the lead Type III ship. Distinctive top features of the sort III vessels for instance the narrowwer fore funnel and larger bridge were accurately reproduced. Though she played a working part in lots of actions from the Aleutians to Guadalcanal, where she was finally sunk throughout the Naval Battle of Guadalcanal, this model depicts the ship when she was initially launched.
