1/700 Japanese Destroyer Hibiki

This is a construction kit associated with Hibiki, which was commissioned in 1933 and survived the war after getting involved in many battles including the invasions of Malaya and Kiska as well as the Battle for the Philippine water. The narrow fore channel along with other features unique towards Type III "Special Type" destroyers are accurately reproduced, because are the numerous triple 25mm AA firearms that have been added from 1944. This model would make for a good contrast with her fellow Type III sis ship Akatsuki or previously Fubuki-class destroyers for instance the Fubuki or Ayanami.
