Description

The M3 Grant Light Tank produced by Tamiya in 1/35 scale assembly kit, is classified in Scale Models - Military Series - Tanks

1/35 scale installation kit of the M3 give Mk.I. This will be a British spec variation of the U.S. M3 medium tank. It showcased a bigger turret than that M3 Lee Mk.I and had been armed with a 75mm M2 weapon found in a sponson regarding front-right side of hull and a 37mm M5 weapon in a turret on top of the hull. The machine gun cupola from the M3 Lee Mk.I happened to be not fitted. Other features included front and rear fenders including side skirts. At the Battle of Gazala in 1942, it offered a good surprise to German commanders along with its firepower as it could get hits from a range at which the Africa Corps' Panzer IIIs couldn't respond.
