The Russian Anti-Tank Team produced by Tamiya in 1/35 scale assembly kit, is classified in Scale Models - Military Series - Soldiers - World War

During WWII, anti-tank rifles were employed by Russian infantry to counter German tanks. One such rifle had been the "ProtivoTankovoye Ruzhyo Degtyaryova" otherwise referred to as "PTRD". The solitary shot PTRD fired a 14.5mm shell and had a successful range up to 800m. PTRD teams usually hid amongst destroyed structures waiting to knock away its next victim.

Specs & Features

Set includes an overall total of 5 figures. A shooter and spotter for the PTRD, a soldier holding a hand grenade, and a loader and shooter the included Maxim heavy machine gun.
