Warrior of this Rising Sun

This figure model depicts a Japanese Navy fighter pilot, whom, within controls associated with famous Zero fighter, cleared the skies of Allied aircraft in the beginning of WWII. The appearance of the early war airmen including trip suit, flight limit, goggles, and life vest is accurately reproduced. The big 1/16 scale showcases the realistic pose and expressive facial features of the figure completely. Modelers can choose to assemble the figure with arms folded or in a more heroic stance with a katana in its right hand. About the Uniform

In the early stages of war inside Pacific, the Japanese Navy airmens' standard uniform was a trip suit, red fabric journey boots and flight cap, and goggles with an anodized aluminum framework. Gloves and a life vest finished the outfit. Official guidelines didn't allow a katana become brought on board as a result of risk of affecting the compass reading, but many photographs reveal airmen with katana within their aircraft.
