Short-damper upgrade option for M-Chassis touring setups

This shock damper set is designed to fit M-Chassis and touring cars that use short damper stays. The package contains hardware to assemble a complete Set of 4 dampers: HL (high-lubrication) cylinders, titanium-coated shafts, transparent silicone O-rings and aluminum spring retainers finished in black. The cylinder bore is 0.5mm larger than standard types, increasing oil capacity by about 10%, and the assembled dampers are shorter by 4mm versus standard length units. Included reinforced V parts (reworked in a separate parts release) broaden setup options for chassis tuning.

  • Overall length: 4mm shorter than standard dampers
  • Spring retainers: Aluminum, black finish
  • Springs: 2 × yellow, 2 × red
  • V parts: Reinforced plastic, revised design for flexible setups
  • Compatibility: M-Chassis and touring cars using short damper stays

Install these dampers when you need a compact short-damper setup with increased oil volume and more setup choices; they are intended for chassis tuning, routine maintenance and suspension fine-tuning on scale RC touring cars.

Compatible with M-Chassis and touring car frames that accept short damper assemblies; verify your damper stay spacing and mounting eyelett positions before fitment.
The 0.5mm increase in bore raises oil capacity by roughly 10%, which alters damping characteristics; adjust oil weight and piston selection to re-tune rebound and compression.
The kit provides components to build a Set of 4 dampers: HL cylinders, titanium-coated shafts, transparent silicone O-rings, aluminum spring retainers (black) and two yellow plus two red springs.
Shafts have a titanium coating which improves surface hardness and wear resistance; inspect and clean regularly and replace O-rings as part of routine maintenance.
When switching to shorter dampers, re-evaluate spring pre-load, ride height and oil weight; small piston changes and spacer adjustments can recover balance and handling.
