The XB Sport models utilize a special version of the TT-01 Type-E chassis
The fifth generation Golf GTI premiered in 2003 and proceeded the long tradition of Volkswagen "hot hatchbacks." It was running on a turbocharged 2 liter inline 4 cylinder engine with 200hp production and was available with either a 6_speed manual or a quick shifting 6-speed DSG gearbox.
