46mm Double Cardan Drive Shafts

The Tamiya 51761 set contains two 46mm drive shafts designed for double cardan joints, supplied in the ball bearing type to reduce rotational friction in the driveline. These shafts are specified for the TRF421X chassis and can serve either as direct replacements for worn components on TRF421X (Item 42391) or as an upgrade option for the standard TRF421 (Item 42384).

When installed, the ball bearing arrangement helps to minimise speed loss through the joint under steering loads, which supports more consistent power delivery during cornering. For fitment on the TRF421 standard chassis, use together with Item 51762 Ball Bearing Set for Universal Shafts, Item 51763 TRF421X Front Direct Cups (2pcs.), and Item 51764 TRF421X Gear Differential Joints (Ball Bearing Type) as referenced in Tamiya service parts lists.
