For RC hobbyists looking to boost the durability and performance of their M05 and M06 chassis cars, the Tamiya 54267 Aluminum Rear Upright is a noteworthy upgrade. These blue-anodized aluminum components are engineered to increase rigidity in the rear suspension, offering more precise movement and improved handling on the track.

Design and Compatibility

The aluminum rear uprights feature a 2.0-degree toe-in angle, aligning with the standard resin uprights included in the kit. When installed on an M-05 chassis, they maintain the rear toe-in angle at 2.0 degrees, while on an M-06 chassis, the angle adjusts to 3.5 degrees, enhancing stability and control during operation.

These uprights are compatible with multiple configurations:

• M-05: Use with the M-05 Adjustable Upper Arm Set (54182) and 1050 Ball Bearings (51239).
• M-05Ra: Requires the same setup as the M-05, plus the Aluminum Rear Upright Adapter for M-05Ra Chassis (54266).
