This item once was and exclusively available for the F104X1 chassis. It is now available as a regular option component for several versions of this F104 chassis. This unit incorporates a side damper which eliminates the standard friction discs located on the standard F104 F1 framework. The roll damper provides better persistence compared to the old-fashioned damper discs as the used damper oil is shielded from track debris and remains inside the damper pipe.

Specs and Features

Includes: top deck, roll damper, and damper mount included with Item 84203 F104X1 Chassis Kit. This set allows your F104 device to truly have the same top deck/rear suspension setups as the F104X1 framework, allowing modification of pitch and roll motion on their own.
Set includes blue-anodized damper mounts
Compatible with F104, F104PRO, F104W, and F104X1 chassis devices.
Note: Item 53901 TRF Special Damper (F103GT) (separately available) is required for use using this set. If putting in this Option component on an F104 PRO framework, the kit-standard damper can be utilized. Friction damper and friction dishes cannot be properly used with this set.
