The dynamic form of the KV-1's angular, welded turret is accurately reproduced, and add-ons such as the tow cables and device boxes highlight its superb external details. Numerous steel parts have also been offered with the chassis to make certain high durability. In addition to forward/reverse operating and left/right turning, the tank additionally features realistic barrel and hull recoil actions whenever firing the primary weapon. The front device weapon also features muzzle flash effect and firing sounds, while both the headlight and taillight are controllable aswell. The set conveniently includes a 4-channel transmitter, 7.2V battery, and a battery charger (Japan market just). Include the individually available Battle System and you may also have mock battles along with other similarly equipped Tamiya R/C tanks.

The suspension system is like that on a genuine KV-1 and features steel torsion bars and pre-assembled resin tracks to absorb terrain undulations. Furthermore, the DMD Control Unit T-08 features a particular low-speed setting which enables sluggish lumbering motions for even greater realism.

Main Gun Firing

During main gun firing, the barrel-mounted LED flashes, firing noise roars through the onboard presenter, and turret recoil device and drivetrain gearbox work with combination to produce practical barrel and hull recoil movement.

  • The gun barrel offers 24 degrees elevation and 4 degrees despair. Push control stick 2 forward/rearwards to go the weapon.
  • The turret features complete 360 degrees rotation. Drive control stick 1 towards the left/right for rotation. Rotating speed is associated with the stick movement.
  • Features metal torsion bars and pre-assembled resin tracks to replicate practical lumbering motion of this tank.
  • During shooting, the barrel-mounted Light-emitting Diode flashes, firing sound roars through the onboard speaker. Practical barrel and hull recoil motion may also be reproduced.
  • The leading machine weapon additionally features muzzle flash effect and shooting noises.
  • Switching on/off the headlight is controllable via transmitter input.

Towards KV-1

The KV-1 fought desperately among the Russian’s main heavy tanks with the T-34 before mid-WWII. Over 4,000 KV-1 had been produced from 1939 until 1943, which 1940 variation ended up being armed with a 39 caliber F-32 76.2mm main gun.
