Towards Volkswagen Beetle The Volkswagen Type 1, or more often called the Beetle or Bug, was created from 1938 until 2003, and it is still probably one of the most beloved cars of all time. As a little economical "People's vehicle" built to pre-war requirements, the Beetle simple design turned out to be exceedingly reliable, along with its rear-mounted, air-cooled flat-four motor and suspension system withstanding even combat conditions of WWII. Its distinctive aerodynamic shape had been the source of its now famous "Beetle" name, and also the round shape also inspired such monikers as "bubble" and "turtle" in various nations throughout the world. Idolized in popular tradition since the 1960's, the car has made many appearances in movies such as The appreciate Bug and young ones all over the globe will recognize the yellowish Autobot 'Bubblebee' from Transformers. The initial Beetle was finally replaced by the latest Beetle after a phenomenal production run that spanned 65 years. ��

4-wheel independent dual wishbone suspension with lightweight front/rear uprights for smooth running performance.

Equal length steering arms offer optimum balance and steering reaction. - Equipped with a complete of eight 1050 size ball bearings for smooth and efficient procedure.

Distinctive Beetle human anatomy styling is recreated faithfully with vacuum-formed polycarbonate product and is factory-finished by professional Tamiya staff.

Body shell is highlighted with metal plated bumpers and part mirrors for added realism.

Includes ESC (TEU-101 BK), Type 540 engine, and Expec R/C System.
