The Sand Rover attracted many hobbyists towards exciting realm of R/C in the early times of the radio control buggy era. Initially released in 1981, the R/C Sand Rover featured easy construction and a dune buggy human anatomy design. To commemorate its 30th anniversary, Tamiya is matching the classic buggy body using the contemporary, easy-to-assemble DT-02 framework, which makes it ideal for those that are not used to R/C pastime.

Specifications:

1/10 scale R/C installation kit.
The durable resin human body is molded in white and may even be finished using Tamiya Color paints.
The DT-02 framework comes with a 4-wheel independent suspension system with coil spring dampers.
380 size engine included and is along with a 10T pinion gear (gear ratio=15.768:1)
Fully-enclosed gearbox protects against dust and debris.
Ribbed front side and spiked rear tires
Semi-finished motorist figure (pre-painted face & cap) included.
Included Type 380 motor may be replaced with Type 540 motor to increase rate and power.
Speed Controller: electronic rate controller(Not included)
