That is a vintage Mercedes competition car through the early 1990’s. It replicates the iconic 190 E 2.5-16 Evo.II. The livery in this kit faithfully replicates the colors associated with the Team Zakspeed car which went in the 1991 DTM. Of special historical racing note; in races 6 and 7 of the season, the no.20 car ended up being piloted by a Michael Schumacher, whom later proceeded to win 7 Formula One World Championships. The key sponsor regarding the vehicle had been Daimler-Benz’s now-defunct group business Debis.

TT-01 E (Evolved Chassis)
The bath tub frame associated with the evolved shaft-driven 4WD TT-01 Type-E has its motor and battery near to the ground for reduced center of gravity and optimum balance. Attached to the bath tub frame is a fiberglass strengthened nylon top deck and gear covers improving rigidity, in addition to a 3-piece tie pole providing smooth steering action.
