Tamiya 58683-60A - 1/14 Tankpool24 Racing Mercedes-Benz Actros MP4 MB Motorsport Race Truck (TT-01E framework) (w/o ESC)

This model recreates the Mercedes Actros as raced by the Tankpool24 team in the 2019 ETRC (European Truck rushing Championship). This unique entertainment depicts the vehicle that carried the team to 4th place on the season, with veteran Hungarian driver Norbert Kiss 6th overall inside drivers’ standings. The realistic human body is a 3-piece set produced from lightweight and durable polycarbonate, with individually molded plastic side mirrors, coupler and rear bumper components. The TT-01 Type-E framework is a proven performer, and also this framework is equipped with committed semi-truck wheels and tires the model.

TT-01 E Chassis
The bathtub frame of evolved shaft-driven 4WD TT-01 Type-E has its engine and battery close to the ground for lower center of gravity and optimum stability. Installed on the tub frame is a fiberglass strengthened nylon top deck and gear covers improving rigidity, in addition to a 3-piece tie pole supplying a smoother steering action. The reduced center of gravity, great balanced design, 4-wheel double wishbone suspension system, and front side and back differential gears all get together to make excellent operating capability. 70mm-diameter radial tires are paired with tires developed only for this model; the high sidewalls alllow for forgiving turns.
