This 1/10 scale R/C installation kit recreates the Opel Kadett GT/E in the versatile MB-01 framework platform. The MB-01 chassis for this topic is configured in long wheelbase and midship rear engine / backside wheel drive (MR) to faithfully capture the design associated with the actual automobile.

The Opel Kadett GT/E released in 1975 had been a high-spec form of the Opel Kadett, a car which enjoyed great appeal in Europe in the 1970s. The GT/E had a 2-door coupe human anatomy, a high-spec 1.9-liter engine and reinforced suspension; the works Opel Eurohändler team, satellite teams and privateers took part in rally events with modified versions of the automobile, as well as in 1976 it guaranteed 2nd place in the manufacturer’s championship in global rally races.

The compact, 2WD MB-01 chassis provides a choice of three kinds of wheelbases, and front- or rear- wheel drive system. Without removing battery power, engine, and R/C gear setups from the center frame, merely alter attachment guidelines of last gears and steering linkage to change between front- and rear-wheel drive; low or high engine position can be selected for rear-wheel drive automobiles. The 4-wheel double wishbone suspension system features symmetrical framework and friction dampers. Unitized sections including motor mount, last gears and suspension enhance ease of set up and effective upkeep.
