Chasmosaurus was a horned, frilled, plant eating dinosaur that lived during the belated Cretaceous duration. Chasmosaurus means "chasm lizard", referring towards the holes in its frill, that was believed to be used more for display than defense. Chasmosaurus had been believed become 16-26 feet long and weighted approximately 3.5 tons.
