Tamiya 61109 - 1/48 Dewoitine D.520 French Aces with Staff Car  [61109]

The Dewoitine D.520 had been among the best fighter aircraft the French Air Force had during WWII. It had been powered by a Hispano Suiza 12Y45 V12 motor, which produced 910hp and enabled a premier speed of 529km/h. Its armament included a 20mm HS404 cannon and two 7.5mm machine weapons for each wing. On starting stages of WWII, D.520s fought fiercely contrary to the Luftwaffe and their pilots advertised significantly more than 100 aerial victories. After the armistice in 1940, the D.520 had been extensively used by the Vichy Air Force in addition to Free French units before end associated with war.
