Tamiya 89697 - 1/35 German AB43 203(i)  [89697]

The Italian Fiat company demonstrated a new model of armored reconnaissance and police car in 1938. In 1940, the model had been put into manufacturing and was known as the AB40. The original armament of three 8mm device weapons had been changed to one 20mm cannon and another 8mm device gun if you use a bigger turret for the production of the AB41. After Italy?s surrender toward Allies in September 1943, German forces confiscated many AB41s and modified all of them with more powerful engines, new exhaust silencers, along with other improvements. The cars with such improvements were categorized as AB43s, and so they had been used mainly into the Italian movie theater of operations by the German forces.
