The Mk.Vb, which featured a far more effective Rolls-Royce Merlin 45 engine and an armament of two 20mm cannons and four 7.7mm device firearms, was produced starting from 1941. < RAF Crew Uniforms > During WWII, RAF officers wore a blue-gray uniform with a black necktie.
