Adjustable steel main shaft for CC-01

This adjustable main shaft is designed as an aftermarket replacement for TAMIYA CC01 scale chassis, combining an aluminum alloy body and hardened steel swing cross head to balance weight and strength for scale crawling setups.

The shaft uses an aluminum 6061-T6 outer body paired with hardened steel #45 cross head swing shafts, preserving the cross-pin interface while reducing rotating mass. The design increases available steering angle through a universal cross head, which helps on tight crawl lines where extra articulation is needed.

Measured total length is 126mm, and the unit is suitable for short chassis configurations with a 240mm wheelbase. Installation requires basic disassembly of the CC-01 drivetrain to swap the factory main shaft for this adjustable unit, and the shaft is intended for hobby-scale RC applications only.

The kit includes small hardware for reassembly, listed in the original product notes, and is intended to assist with tuning steering geometry and reducing drivetrain weight rather than changing core gearbox layouts.
