Aluminium hi-torque servo saver for CC01

This aluminium hi-torque servo saver kit is produced by GPM for the Tamiya CC01 platform and pairs a 25T servo saver with an aluminium tie rod in a single set. Designed for RC-scale use only, the assembly aims to protect the steering servo linkage and provide a firmer mechanical connection when using higher torque servos.

Installation is straightforward on CC01 steering knuckles and bellcranks that accept a 25T servo spline and standard CC01 linkage lengths. When fitting, check spline alignment and preload on the tie rod to avoid binding; small adjustments to turnbuckles help centre the steering and reduce play without changing servo endpoints.

From a tuning perspective this kit shifts feedback toward a stiffer steering feel and reduces flex in the linkage path, which can aid repeatable steering inputs during trimming and cornering practice. It is intended as a drop-in upgrade for hobby use on Tamiya CC01 models and similar RC-scale chassis that use the same servo spline and linkage geometry.
