Steering linkage upgrade for CC-01

This aftermarket tie rod is a single-piece spring steel servo linkage supplied for use with Tamiya CC01 chassis setups. It replaces a stock plastic or softer metal link to reduce flex at the steering connection and provide a firmer feedback between the servo horn and steering knuckle.

Fitment and installation are straightforward: remove the original tie rod from the servo horn and steering arm, thread this unit into the existing ball cup or rod end, and confirm correct thread engagement and free movement through the steering arc. Trim or adjust sway to avoid binding at full lock, and re-check for end play after a short test run.

In tuning use, a spring steel tie rod is chosen to control unwanted compliance without adding excessive stiffness to the rest of the steering assembly. It is intended for fine adjustments to steering return and precision during low-speed manoeuvres and scale driving, not as a structural upgrade beyond typical RC steering linkage roles.
