This RC-scale upgrade replaces stock plastic steering components on Tamiya CC-02 chassis with aluminium hardware designed for hobby use. The kit centres on a 25T hi-torque servo saver machined from aluminium to interface with standard servo splines and aluminium tie rods that link the steering knuckles. Materials and geometry are intended to offer consistent steering feedback and improved wear resistance under typical off-road model conditions.

Compatibility is explicitly with Tamiya CC-02 chassis components; verify spline counts and steering geometry before installation. Installation is performed at the steering linkage and servo horn interface, and typically requires removal of existing plastic parts, alignment of tie rods, and secure fasteners to maintain neutral toe and steering centring. This is a purpose-built RC accessory and not for real vehicle use.
