High-torque servo saver and tie rod for CW-01

This aluminium hi-torque servo saver and matching aluminium tie rod are produced for the Tamiya CW-01 (Lunch Box) platform and sold as a single set. The assembly replaces common plastic servo savers to reduce flex under load and to transfer steering inputs with less lost motion, while the aluminium tie rod provides a stiffer link between the servo output and the steering knuckles.

Designed as an RC-scale upgrade, the saver uses a 25T interface to match many hobby-grade servo splines, and the aluminium construction focuses on rigidity and repeatable feedback rather than damping. Fitment is intended for the CW-01 geometry, so verify spline match and horn clearance on your servo before final installation.

Installation notes: remove the original servo saver, align the 25T spline to the servo output, fit the servo horn and secure per your standard hardware, then connect the aluminium tie rod to the steering linkage and check steering sweep for binding. During setup, confirm there is slight free-play where specified by your steering geometry to avoid transmitting shock loads directly into the servo.

On-track tuning: this part shifts the steering response toward a crisper feel; if you experience increased feedback or occasional binding, re-check horn position and link length, and use small trim adjustments at the transmitter to rebalance steering centering.
