This aluminum rear dogbone is an RC-scale replacement part designed to connect the CVD joint to the wheel hub on TAMIYA DT-03 drivetrains. It serves the drivetrain role of transferring torque between the central drives and the wheel end while resisting the common failure mode of the original plastic posts.

The component is machined from solid 6061-T6 aluminum and finished with a polished surface. The GPM upgrade is produced thicker than the original molded posts to reduce bending and breakage under load, and the shaft diameter measures 10mm, which is 1mm larger than the original plastic parts. The item is supplied as a 2 pcs set to replace both rear posts.

Installation is a direct replacement for the stock plastic posts on DT-03 rear assemblies; users should confirm fitment before final assembly. As a tuning choice, switching to a thicker aluminum post reduces flex in the rear drive link and can improve drivetrain consistency during aggressive throttle or heavier loads.
