It functions as a mounting point for the front shocks and top-end of the suspension, serving as a durable alternative to stock plastic towers when you need cleaner shock geometry setup or a firmer mounting surface.

Installation typically involves transferring existing shock mounts and ball studs from the original tower, retaining the same shock length and mounting hardware to preserve geometry. As an aluminium accessory for 1/10 scale touring cars, it is intended to sit between the shock absorbers and the bulkhead, helping with repeatable setup during tuning sessions.
