Aluminium rear underguard for Hornet EVO

This JAZRIDER aluminium rear underguard is an RC-scale replacement part intended for use with the TAMIYA Hornet EVO (58742) chassis. Machined from aluminium with a black finish, the panel sits beneath the rear section of the chassis to provide a metal contact surface where the original plastic underside can be exposed to impacts or abrasion.

Installation follows the Hornet EVO’s existing rear mounting points and uses the same screw locations as the stock undertray, allowing direct substitution without altering the main chassis layout. When fitting, check hole alignment and use thread-lock on steel fasteners if you want a more permanent fixation; avoid overtightening to prevent stress on surrounding plastic components.

Functionally this underguard is used to protect the rear bottom of the buggy and to add a modest increase in rear stiffness and impact distribution. In tuning terms it is a chassis protection and minor rigidity part rather than a primary performance upgrade; expect changes in feel to be subtle and focused on chassis durability during club-level practice and casual offroad sessions.
