This aluminum front upright is an RC-scale replacement designed for TAMIYA Hotshot, Bigwig and Boomerang chassis. Machined from metal and finished in gun metal, the upright swaps in for the stock plastic piece to give a firmer steering linkage mounting point and a more durable steering pivot under track use.
The part accepts a 5mm long ball connector to match common Tamiya linkage hardware, and its role in the front suspension is purely to hold steering links and wheel hubs in the correct geometry.
