These are RC-scale derlin damper pistons machined with a 4-hole pattern intended for use on the TAMIYA M06 chassis. The Derlin material provides low friction against shock shafts and consistent interaction with silicone shock oil, while the four-hole layout governs oil flow for predictable damping feel.

The parts are intended as direct replacements inside standard M06-style shock bodies. Installation requires disassembly of the shock assembly, removal of the old pistons and springs, swapping in the machined Derlin pistons, and reassembling with the same oil and seals. Ensure piston orientation and hole alignment match front and rear setups where symmetry is desired.

In tuning, the 4-hole pistons change how quickly oil passes through the piston during compression and rebound. Use them to fine-tune mid-speed damping response and to complement changes in shock oil viscosity and spring rate. They are most useful when you need repeatable behavior across multiple shocks for consistent handling on the track.
