Rear gear box cover for TA series

This aluminum rear gear box cover is a replacement part intended for TAMIYA TA01, TA02 and DF01 RC chassis rear gearbox assemblies. Machined from aluminum with a black finish, the part serves as a rigid external housing that protects internal gears and helps maintain gearbox alignment during maintenance and setup.

Use this cover when replacing a damaged plastic cover, when performing regular gearbox service, or when preparing a chassis for tuning where a stiffer mounting surface is desired. It mounts to the original rear gearbox location and is designed to work with the stock mounting points and hardware.

Installation and practical notes

  • Before installation, clean the gearbox area and inspect spur gear, pinion gear, and bearings for wear.
  • Remove the original rear gearbox cover and retain the factory screws and any mounting plates, these are typically reused for a direct fit.
  • Fit the JAZRIDER aluminum cover onto the existing mounting points, check gear mesh and shaft alignment, then secure hardware evenly to avoid distortion.
  • After installation, test-rotate the drivetrain by hand to confirm smooth operation before powering the model.

thanks guys received my parts a week ago fantastic work. keep it up.
The product is specified for TA01, TA02 and DF01 rear gearbox assemblies only, compatibility with other chassis is not stated.
The aluminum cover is designed to use the existing mounting points and factory hardware where applicable, keep original screws when removing the old cover.
Verify gear mesh and shaft alignment by hand-rotating the drivetrain and recheck screw torque after a short test run.
