Center pulley gear for TA05

This 3Racing TA05-21A center bulk pulley gear set provides interchangeable 16T, 17T and 18T pulley options designed for the Tamiya TA05 family of touring car chassis. It is an RC-scale replacement part intended to sit in the center bulk area and work with the existing drive train components on TA05, TA-05IFS and TA05-R layouts.

Compatibility is limited to the listed TA05 variants, it does not include other chassis types. The set’s purpose is to give tuners a straightforward way to alter center pulley tooth count without modifying the gearbox or motor pinion, letting you fine-tune acceleration and top-speed balance for track or club runs. Expect the change in tooth count to affect final drive behavior rather than introduce new hardware requirements.

Installation follows standard center-bulk access procedures on TA05 chassis: remove the center cover and associated drive parts as required, replace the existing pulley with the selected 16T, 17T or 18T unit, verify gear mesh and alignment, then reassemble using the original fasteners. After installation, check driveline freeplay and spin the drivetrain by hand before powering up to confirm smooth engagement.

Use this part as a tuning option alongside changes to pinion, spur gear, motor timing or ESC settings. It is intended for model-scale adjustments only and not for any real vehicle application.

Compatible with Tamiya TA05, TA-05IFS and TA05-R center bulk assemblies as stated, check your chassis layout before ordering.
Lower tooth count favors acceleration and response, higher tooth count tends toward greater top speed, changes modify final drive characteristics.
Verify gear mesh and alignment, recheck driveline rotation by hand, and retain original hardware; avoid forcing parts to prevent bearing or shaft damage.
