This carbon fiber front shock tower is an RC-scale replacement part designed for the front end of the TAMIYA TA08 PRO chassis. It mounts at the top of the front gearbox near the shocks and serves to stabilise the front suspension by providing a firmer mounting point for the shock absorbers. The component is intended for hobby use on model cars and for tuning front-end response rather than any full-scale application.
The tower includes multiple shock mounting holes to change shock angles and roll centre settings, allowing incremental adjustments for different track conditions or driving styles. Installation requires removing the original tower and refitting the supplied hardware to the same top-of-gearbox location; basic tool access to the front gearbox area and standard hex drivers are sufficient.
Because the set includes a small quantity of stainless steel screws, verify screw lengths and thread engagement during installation to avoid gearbox or shock stud interference. The part replaces the original shock tower to offer a stiffer, lighter mounting option while keeping installation and setup straightforward.
