Aluminium adjustable spring damper for TB04

This is an aftermarket RC-scale front and rear adjustable spring damper designed for use on the TAMIYA TB04 platform, supplied by GPM under part number TB4055F/R. The unit uses an aluminium body and a threaded spring collar to allow preload changes without removing the shock from the car, providing a compact upgrade for suspension tuning.

Installation is straightforward for hobbyists familiar with TB-04 maintenance: remove the stock shock, swap the upper and lower mounting pins if needed, and fit the GPM damper into the original shock towers and lower mounts. No changes to electronics, motor, or gearbox are required since this is a scale suspension component for RC use only.

Functionally the damper is intended to allow fine preload adjustment and more consistent spring seating. Use the threaded collar to increase or decrease spring preload to alter ride height and initial spring rate, then verify geometry and wheel alignment on both axles. Combine preload changes with normal shock oil and spring selection practices for predictable handling changes.

Maintenance notes: periodically check threads for debris, ensure springs remain seated, and inspect mounting pins and pins' retainers for wear. Aluminium surfaces can be cleaned with mild solvent; avoid abrasive cleaners that may affect fit or finish. This product is an RC accessory and is not suitable for full-size vehicle use.
