Aluminum front upper arm for TAMIYA chassis

This aluminium front upper suspension arm is a scale RC replacement part designed for TAMIYA TL-01, GF-01, and WR-02 chassis layouts. Made as a direct-fit style component, it replaces the stock plastic upper arm to give a consistent mounting point for the steering knuckle and upper suspension link.

Intended role: use this arm when you want a firmer upper pivot point for suspension tuning, more repeatable camber and toe behaviour after repeated runs, or to reduce flex in high-stress tuning setups. The part is a chassis-level accessory for model-scale tuning and setup work only.

Installation notes: remove the stock arm and transfer any bushings or pins that are part of the original assembly, verify fit at the steering knuckle and shock tower, and check clearances with the servo saver and drive components. Tighten mounting hardware to a firm, but not overdriven, torque and verify free movement through the suspension travel. Periodic inspection for fastener security is recommended.

Tuning tips: when fitting aluminium arms into an otherwise plastic suspension, test handling changes incrementally—adjust toe and camber in small steps and confirm behaviour on the track or testing surface. Aluminium alters stiffness at the upper mount, so pair it with appropriate shock valving or spring choices to balance the chassis.

It is designed for TL-01/GF-01/WR-02 chassis fitments that use the same upper arm geometry, verify fit against your existing steering knuckle and shock tower before final install.
No special tools are required beyond standard RC tools; reuse the original pins or screws if they match, otherwise replace with the correct-size fasteners.
Aluminium provides a stiffer mount which can change steering feedback and repeatability; test incremental setup changes to balance the chassis response.
