Aluminum Front Knuckle Arms (Red)

This aluminum front knuckle arm set is an RC-scale steering upgrade intended for the Tamiya TL-01, GF-01 and WR-02CB platforms. The red aluminum construction replaces standard plastic knuckles to provide a stiffer steering pivot that helps maintain alignment under load and supports more consistent tuning when adjusting toe and camber settings.

On installation, check existing suspension geometry and verify fit with your hub carriers and wheel hexes before final tightening. These knuckles are designed to use the vehicle's original mounting points and hardware; confirm ball stud and wheel hex engagement, and ensure there is no binding through the suspension travel. After fitting, recheck toe-in and kingpin angles as the altered stiffness can change steering response.

From a tuning perspective, swapping to aluminum front knuckles reduces flex at the steering spindle, which can sharpen initial turn-in and make steering inputs more repeatable during practice and setup changes. They are useful when experimenting with different shock rates, sway bar settings, or when using heavier wheel and tire combinations that expose compliance in the stock plastic parts.
