This is an RC-scale front shock tower designed for the TAMIYA TRF 416 chassis, supplied as a hop-up replacement by 3Racing 416-15/WO. Made from graphite, the part is intended to change front-end stiffness and offer alternate mounting geometry for tuning the front suspension response on 1/10 on-road setups.
Installation replaces the stock front tower using the existing mounting points and hardware, keeping the chassis geometry unchanged except for the altered material stiffness and available shock positions. Because it is a direct-fit hop-up for the TRF 416, no chassis modification is required beyond the normal removal and re-attachment of the original tower.
In tuning terms, a graphite tower shifts the balance between flex and rigidity ahead of the car, which can affect turn-in behavior and transient response. Use incremental adjustments to shock position and spring/damper settings when evaluating the tower, and verify alignment and ride height after installation to ensure consistent handling on the track.
