This is an RC-scale graphite upper deck produced by 3Racing for the Tamiya TRF 416 chassis, sold as part 416-07/WO. It is intended as a direct-fit spare part to replace the factory upper deck on the TRF 416 without modifying the main chassis layout.

Graphite as a material increases the top-deck rigidity relative to standard composite plates, which changes how the chassis transmits forces between the front and rear. In practical tuning, that translates to different mid-corner balance and steering response; teams use this kind of part to fine-tune handling for higher-speed on-road setups.

Installation is straightforward for experienced hobbyists: remove the original upper deck using the stock fasteners, check that any wiring and electronics (servo, ESC, motor) clear the new deck, and reinstall using the original mounting points and screws. Verify clearances and tighten hardware to your usual torque preferences, then test on a controlled run to assess handling changes.
