This Factory Pro FP-O-TCP013 bumper upper plate is an aftermarket graphite top plate produced for the Tamiya TRF421X chassis. It is intended as a direct replacement hop-up that locates above the front bumper area and ties into the existing mounting points on the TRF421X layout.

Graphite construction reduces unwanted flex at the bumper mount while keeping weight low, helping to stabilise front-end response during high-frequency inputs. In practical tuning the plate acts as a structural link that changes how impact forces and chassis twist are distributed across the front end.

Installation follows the TRF421X factory mounting pattern, using the stock screw positions and hardware on the chassis. When fitting, align the plate to the bumper mounts before final tightening, use moderate torque to avoid overtightening near composite parts, and verify clearance to the servo and suspension arms through full travel.

Tuning notes: swapping from a more compliant front brace to this graphite plate tends to give a crisper steering feel and can reduce chatter on high-grip surfaces; pair changes with small adjustments to caster and damping to evaluate net effect on handling.
