This GPM aftermarket plate is designed for the Tamiya TT01 chassis to replace the stock motor mount with an aluminium unit that adds a heat sink surface. The component is intended as an RC-scale upgrade to help manage motor temperatures and keep the motor seated squarely to the gearbox during spirited driving or tuning sessions.

In practical setup work the plate serves two roles: thermal management and rigid motor positioning. The integrated fin area increases exposed metal surface for passively shedding heat, while the alloy construction reduces flex compared with some plastic mounts. That stability helps maintain pinion and spur alignment, which can translate to smoother power delivery on asphalt and carpet surfaces.

Installation is straightforward for technicians familiar with TT01 layouts: remove the original motor mount, position the motor on the new plate, and secure using the original mounting points and hardware. No special tools beyond standard hex drivers are required, but check torque and mesh after fitting and during the first runs to confirm alignment and cooling performance.

The plate is produced for the TT01 platform and installs using the chassis' existing motor mount locations.
In most cases the mount uses the original hardware; inspect the fit and retainers during installation and reuse stock screws unless fitment issues appear.
Set motor position, tighten mounts progressively, then verify pinion-to-spur engagement at low turns and adjust for minimal play without binding.
